#5 feeds have been redesigned. As a result, dimensional changes have occurred to the housing.
There are three dimensional changes, as outlined on the spec sheet shown at the linked image. All other dimensions are identical, including thread specifications. The nibs themselves are also identical.
This may require internal section design changes, depending upon tolerances.
Over time, all #5 nibs will transition to this new design. Whatever inventory you see of the original #5 nibs is what we have left. As these nibs sell, the new design will replace them.
