| We are
proud to offer in-house nib adjustment with turnaround time
of usually one week. These services are not only for nibs
that are for sale by Meister Nibs, but also for any other
pen that you would like to send me, with a few rare
exceptions. |

Regrind to Stub.
A stub is the smoothest of the italic nibs. It
offers less line variation than a cursive italic, and is
smoother.

|
Regrind to Cursive Italic.
A cursive italic is between a crisp italic and
a stub. It offers a little less line variation than a
crisp italic, and is smoother.
|
|
Regrind to Crisp Italic.
Please note that a crisp italic is a very crisp nib that offers
lots of line variation, but tends to not be as smooth.
This nib is generally not for a beginner.
|
Regrind to Fine. This will require a
medium or broad nib to begin with. |
Regrind to
Extra Fine. This will require a fine,
medium, or broad nib to begin with. |

|
Add Flex.
Adding flex is a method of thinning the metal to allow
the tines to spread with pressure, giving line variation
as you press. PLEASE NOTE - This is not for every
nib. I find that 18k nibs do not react as well as 14k
nibs. An 18k nib will have nice flex, but will
generally be a wet writer.
